Desires Poem by Gloria J. Fluker

Desires

I desire to be with you on this cold and windy night.
Kiss me. Touch me. Hold me tight.
Whisper sweet words into my ear;
And say, "I love you, I love you, my dear."
I desire you to discover the treasures of my mind and body
As we lie embedded in each other's arms. Oh, I desire your charm.
Embellish the thoughts, as you travel within my inner self.
Find the joy, strength, peace, freedom, and love--yes, also wealth.
I desire you to find the burning light shining from within
And bring your mind into harmony with the desires of my heart.
