Detour Poem by Tosin Adesokan

Detour

From birth, they've planned a detour
By forcing the child to walk
When the hour to walk it yet to arrive
By taking a detour, the child is now cripple
In academic, they've planned a detour
By giving an unworthy promotion to the child
By taking a detour, the child is neither good nor bad
The child has been addicted to detour
He seeks detour anytime, everywhere desperately
He seeks detour to an unworthy journey
By taking a detour, the child is now resting at the grave yard
