Devil Woman Poem by Bill Simmons

Devil Woman

Rating: 5.0

I feel cold chill running down my neck
Goose pimples now all along my back
I know I still have to fight the devils will…
There she is all dressed in red
Just like my mama had always said
Son beware of the devil woman in red

Mama never said what I'm supposed to do
How can I resist those eyes of blue
I can feel her reaching down into my soul…
Now I can feel my heart jump start
If I'm not careful she'll tear it apart
Mama I think this is one thing I'm bound to lose

She walks over, she smiles at me
The devil woman's got me shaking knees
Suddenly I can only feel a need…
It's to late, I can't run
The devil woman her will is done
There is nothing else but her blue eyes I can see

I'm sorry mama but I have failed
I loved the devil woman and I loved her well
And now I can't get her out of all my dreams…
I never knew what she could do
I never knew she could love me too
I never knew she could take the breath from me

Now mama, you need to know
With the devil woman I'm bound to go
I was never told that she could love me too…
The flames were higher, the flaming desire
I just couldn't help the hearts desire
I just couldn't see past those eyes of blue.
