Devils Night - Poem by martinez king cortez muriithi

wierd disturbances in the middle
of the night
horrific dreams and the ugliest of
sights
yes ofcorse this just might
be one of those obvious devilish
nights
when terror grips your feeble
spine
and compromises your weary
mind
when the slightest of noise
even that of squeeling mice
pumps your ugly fears back to
life
when darkness falls, its the devilz
light
and it makes you chew on your
nails all night
when you hold your old blankets
oh so tight
and you lie to yourself that its all
alright
but its about to get uptight
coz theres about to be a
gruesome fight
all in favor of the devilz delight
coz yes.... its the devils night

woken up by a loud crying baby
coupled up by another crying
lady
and the sound of an ambulance
loudly wailing
is that the sound of a man who's
dying? - maybe
am not set, am not ready
helter skelter, its all hazy
the fears asphyxiating
skin perspirating
my eyes dialating
my heart pulsating
two beats per second
it must be a new record
the devil is on a roll
he has full control
the night is full of gore
demons roar
blood and gore are getting more
more and more the mind is sore
the soul is lost
the heart - frozen to the core
instinct covered by frost.
courage crusified on a cross
guess who's boss?
the devilz boss, what a loss
but imma show him who's bold
tie him with a cord
and feed him to the dogz
yes am hardcore
can i get an encore
no wait am on hold
later, got to go
