Diamond And Glass Poem by akram saqib

Diamond And Glass

In a fair where poverty and shame reside,
Everyone is stained with a muddy tide.
A dim light flickers in the hearts of the poor,
Like a worn-out coin, forevermore.
A diamond is the one, they say so true,
That shines anew, even after a night or two.
May everyone find such a precious stone,
And never stumble on life's sharpest bone.
