Diamond In The Rough Poem by Devon Tremblay

Diamond In The Rough

She hides her face
Keeping her beauty from the world
Always thinking that
No one is there for her.

She stays away from the crowd
To be lost in it's nonsense
will not be allowed.

Basking no longer in light
She resides in the Dark
We can keep looking for her
But we will never find
What we can't see.

I can see you've been hurt
It's so easy to question
Everyone and their trust
But I want you to know
I'm here for you
But he'll love you
Better than any other man.

All he asks for is to see
You shine with brightness
A beauty so uncommon
Must not go to waste.

Stand to your feet
And leave this shroud of emptiness
Walk in the light around
Full of radiance
Become complete, become who you are.

Come away Darling,
Come with Me.
