Diatribe Against The Poetry Slammers!
I'd much rather be considered antediluvian,
Than pursue the trite novelty,
Of the preposterous poetry slammers.
It's truly pathetic that they prefer pantomime
To vital, radical art that edifies.
I have watched these painted zombies,
prancing around the stage, so many times,
And I find them vile of tongue & slow of wit!
