Did Shakespeare?

'Tis said that Shakespeare
used 'wrench' for 'rinse';
said, 'like a glass
Did break in the wrenching.'

Did he think for 'wench'
to use 'inse'?

Did he think of using, then bench,
'inse' for 'wench';
say, 'Take thy lute, wench'
not '...inse';

when, for 'rinse',
he persevered with 'wrench'?
