Did You Invent You Poem by Satish Verma

Did You Invent You

Rewording the draft of
committing suicide like blackbirds
falling from trees on street light.

Severe pain unwraps the
tragedy of closing the door on the moon,
as a bombshell strikes the bed.

The cat dies on the terrace.
Bright stars dim. Sunflowers will
marry with burning pyre.
