Didn'T Love Me Poem by Joshua Gallatin

Didn'T Love Me

I know that face I’ve seen it before
Just before I walked out the door
It was the time I’d left you behind
Cause I didn’t love you no more
I went to my friends to have a good time
And saw all the girls I’d like to see
That’s when I realized it was you
Who didn’t love me

Then I saw you there walking the square
But I didn’t expect to see him
A friend long before I had walked out the door
Someone I hadn’t seen again
So I went to my friends to have a good time
And saw all the girls I like to see
That’s when I realized it was you
Who didn’t love me

It was a handle of gin when I’d seen you again
Cause I couldn’t manage all the pain
As you left with your stuff I got the look and
I knew it was finally the end
So I went to my friends to have a good time
And saw every girl who wanted me
And that’s when I realized it was you
Who never loved me

The love game can be rough at times.
