Didn't Operate Within A Cage Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

Didn't Operate Within A Cage

Loving her was not a gimmick,
Yet when it was over, he still qualified himself as an animal act
She was a lioness in training,
Ferocious in her motives and techniques
Damaged some sights, but never hurt the eyes
Passion was her mantra,
Possessing a vision while being blindly followed,
Which might have damaged her self-image
Still, she didn't operate within a cage,
So the only circus she knew was the one created for herself
