Differences Poem by Paul Frederick

Differences

In the Kentucky Derby
Haggle like a barbie
You never once said
I'd have to get the cred
It was a winsome moment
Of typical torment
I put it among the hues
Never to get the news
Sing a faithful song
To which there is a gong
Buddhists like chocolate
Which is to celebrate
I saw that peculiar custom
And there's nothing wrong
It cracked my upper teeth
that needed a clean sweep
Tell the bloody idiot
I'm not a dithering tot
What is my major difference
Of high and up preference
Take two and two together
And make a simple tether
You'll see a mighty delight
Of contrast inspite
But am a devil-worshipper
The archaic way gossiper
No I must have lied
Evil men implied
Am the center of attention
The earthly dwell a mention
You beat the drums till morning
Without a Christian warning
Maybe am a Jew
Barmitzvah overdue
I could be an atheist
To find out how ache is
And now am on a roll
A seeker on the dole
But why the searching question
About my aching boredom
I have learnt to do a wheelly
When it is you really
Champagne for the masses
Toss it with your glasses
I'm only a mortal fool
IF you think hating is cool
