Different Planets Poem by Ken Duffy

Different Planets

Women are from Venus, men are from Mars
One is into jewellery, the other into cars

Women love to talk while men pretend to listen
Men leave house in a mess, women like it to glisten

Males love their sports, women tolerate to please
Always we are, as different as chalk and cheese

Girls they like a chic flick, we like blood and guts
One thing is for sure, we can drive each other nuts

We men call you birds, might as well be gannets
The truth of it is, we are both from different planets
