Different Race Poem by Margo Reid

Different Race

Would you go with someone of a different race?
What would you do?
If you pass by someone the same as you with a funny expression on their face
If he or she says something cruel toward you
Would you listen to what they have say?
Look and then curses them out,
Or go about your own way,
Would you tell them to close their hatred mouth?
And step off into your own little world and go
Would it cross your mind?
That there mind is slow.
Because people like these are wasting your time,

Do you like the person with the opposite color?
Do you like to stereotype
Or let your heart grows sour,
Then start a fight,
I hate you, and I wish you were dead,
Do you think that is right?
To fill these hatred words in your head.

Grow to love and be friends
See the beauty of your heart,
Changes into an angel to the ones you hate in the End
Share your culture and tell each other the different parts
Grow from hate to Love, and turn your enemies
into beautiful creatures as one of your loving friends.
Share with them the beauty of life until the end.
