“darkness Lies Within” Poem by Margo Reid

“darkness Lies Within”

Rating: 5.0

There’s something evil that takes hold upon my heart
That lies and tears me apart
I’m full with guilt
Which are made up of mysteries and stories it built

My heart is stain of sin
Which glided with hate within
I wish there was apart of me I can delete
Because I’m not fully complete

There’s an evil and dark passion of my soul
That keeps me from being whole
And if someone had done me wrong
I will let him or her suffer long
Because to me—it matters not
This is one thing that should not be forgot

After reading some of your poems, it really seems you need to realize how special you are Margo. We all have that ''darkness'' within us.....we just have to shine our light bright enough to brighten it up! Take care. I look forward to reading more of your poems. Sincerely, Mary
