Digital Christians Poem by Felix Otiende

Digital Christians

*Digital Christians*

It's Sunday again, Sabbath day to us
In my white rob or Sunday best or church according
Walking holy on the street
Forgetting how I have exchanged words with my neighbor

Saying Amen ' let it be so ' and condemning others
Yet I have more secrets in the darkness
Preaching giving yet my dustbin is full of leftovers And my neighbor is dieing of hunger
It's now an exhibition show

Drinking the whole week and holy on a single day
Why do I preach God of Abraham, Isaac and Shadrach? Is He not the same God?
Let's be today's Bible
Who is a Christian according to Acts of the Apostle?

Let God be in you and you in Him
I know I have ashamed Him and nailed Jesus a million times on the cross
People need to see, feel and touch Jesus through me
Watch over my tongue Jesus
