Dilip Chitre's House (On Reading The Felling Of The Banyan Tree) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Dilip Chitre's House (On Reading The Felling Of The Banyan Tree)

Dilip Chitre's house
Under the banyan tree
And he thinking about
Before being shifted to
From Baroda to Bombay.

The house being removed,
The huge tree being cut,
Birds flying away,
He saw it all
As a mute spectator.
