Direct Departure Poem by Tayyab Ijaz

Direct Departure

Mom
Make my lunch box ready
I am getting late from school.
No mom, I won't wear sweater today.
Mom, give me more money.
Mom please!
No mom, I won't take breakfast today.
We party in the break.
Bye mom.
See you in the evening.

Sorry mom, I could not tell you in the morning.
I had to leave for heaven from school.
It was a sudden departure.
I did not know our school was to be attacked by terrorists.
Sorry mom!
