My Beloved Poem by Tayyab Ijaz

My Beloved

Rating: 5.0

OH Darling! I am longing for your touch
The sweet moments spent together still haunt me
The cherished memories are my playmates
The streets and lanes where we loved and walked together
Seem Deserted like my heart
For thy love I ignored the cares and worries of life
The fragrance of your rosy body
Has filled the air around me with love
You are my goddess and intoxication
Sadness and sorrows can be sensed even in my wardrobe
The moonlit nights torment my soul
No one can imagine how closely we shared our sorrows and pleasures
I am happy that through the failure in this love
I learnt the literal meanings of Pain, Despair, Loneliness
Because the trauma occurred due to clash in the classes

Love is a spiritual experience and a voyage of pure bliss that affects all and sundry profoundly. It is however, whimsical and temperamental: appearing unannounced and may leave without warning, if it's not carefully nurtured at all times by both couples, to maintain its bliss and fascination. Beautiful romantic love poem nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Thanks for the lovely poem Tayyab.
