Direction Poem by Andre Brown

Direction

Rating: 3.0

You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes,
you can steer yourself in any direction you choose,
you're not alone, you have no idea what you don't know,
You are the person who will decide where to go,
You can never cross an ocean until you have the courage to loose sight of the shore,
When you let go of what you are then you become much more,
The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be,
You will only be able to see further when you go as far as you can see,
you make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give,
A man not willing to die for something is not fit to live,
There are two aspects to every circumstance so put everything to the test,
I might be as bad as the worst but thank god I'm as good as the best.

What a poetic line! You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes. Thanks.
