Aunt Chat wedding, Dec.1994)

Pwera bisita, pwera bisita
An hour later

Wang wang wang
Emergency signal
Red lights twisting
Giant ferries went back from origin
Mactan channel got angry
Waves smashed high
Slapping Cebu shipyard zone

M/Y Katrina dancing with fear
Nearby lights turned to gray
Captain’s alarmed were freezed
And were waiting
But braved enough to ignore
December storm
And we arrived at palompon pier
At noon

We saw the angry seas
For a brief moment
We understood

The captain must be the captain
Of Katrina”s fate till death
