Dismal. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Dismal.

Rating: 5.0

Night brings night
Over man and animal.
Winds blow soft.
Sweet come the cries
Of babies and cats.
Thoughts drift away
To where memories
Hang.
Dolorous feelings
Yearn for healing.
No night is
Short
As you might
Wish it.
Night brings night
Over man and animal
And I am downright
Dismal.
