the intimacy
is so blinding

it is true
you cannot see
what is too near

like love, they
keep on saying i am

blind, and so to
keep the balance and
see the

truth i buy this distance
from you

away from your
scent and
warmth

and to feel the
coldness of my own

universe, here, i see
earth from a distance

you, less the bias
that i have

the foul scent of pain
the uncertain warmth of love

distance magnifies
and then i see.
