Distant Dreams Poem by Mark Quin

Distant Dreams

Rating: 5.0

A place where wishes
Become true
Wake up and all vanishes
Of what you once knew

A mystical time
Where no reasons are needed
An endless world to divine
Why end? I pleaded

I open my eyes
The sudden reality awakes
Facing towards the sky
Thinking my dreams is what I make

My dreams, my future
Something like a book
Visions of what only I can only foresee
It is the choice I took

To take life or let die
I couldn’t read my chapters
Each choice, a tie
The absence of an eternal sense of reality was my deter

It was a mistake
Living in a life of repentance
A world, a better place; from the reflection in the deep sorrow lake
My life is a sentence

My future keeps me dreaming
The reality, keep dreaming more
The happening a place I’d rather not be
My soul has tore.
