Distorted Persona Poem by Prafulla Kumar Panda

Distorted Persona

O God! Look at man
whom you've created taking much pain
giving him a 'mind'
to preserve thought
and a 'heart'
to preserve kindness of sort
both grew like teeth rather
to compete in-between to surpass the other

thoughtful he doesn't grow
but struts igniting his passion like a bonfire
and sets ablaze everything new
with his bestial instincts
he ruffles the beauty
and defiles her modesty
only to establish his strength,
status and his demonic fashion

if kind-hearted ever he becomes
only for himself and for his men
but never looks at his neighbour
who cries of pangs and of hunger
also, takes pride to outrage Nature
who gifted him all her joys as a bountiful mother
in a handsome physique
he grows a diabolic inner!
ever active like a Hydra to spit venomof jealousy, hate and pain
also very proud for his power, pelf and position
to break every peace and silence
and to shatter
men's hopes and their sense of humour
and to destroy the heaven's intentionof truth, non-violence and reason.
