Distraction Poem by Soumya Geddam Naidu

Distraction

Rating: 5.0

Surrounded by silent trees
And fallen leaves
With a broken heart
I don't know where to start

And Years later it's still the same
Whenever I hear your name
My heart breaks apart

In the mirror I look at my face
There is no trace
Of the smile I once had
That's just sad

I miss...
Your sweet smile
Your sparkling eyes
Which made feel nice

All I want to say is
You will now never know that

You were perfection
You had my attention
You were my distraction
