Distressed Moment Poem by Blessing Ekpe

Distressed Moment

When all you ever do is to reach out to a world so cold and distressed.
And all you ever do is reach out in love,
what you get in return hurt so much,
left nothing to talk about.
the skeleton of dark memories linger on
Beckoning for rescue and a way out.
