All the days that we are lost
We might be remembered in time
As time doesn't discriminate
Between its sweet folds, alike.
Oh what a burden we go through
As if we pass unseen, still in the
shadow of the future,
All those anxious nights and
All those moments between the lights.
Time a sweet torture, pass me by with finesse
Why linger with a slow burn?
Why pass by like a craze?
Time, happen to trap me
in your spiral maze.
We meet all the time but unbeknownst to you,
I don't smile often when I see you.
