Diversified Love Poem by Caleb Shinn

Diversified Love

Distracted by the hidden look
no use hiding behind my book
Catching her eyes for a second
depth within trying to beckon
Elation felt deep in
background speaking now just a din
Trying to find courage to say hi
but the bell is ringing good-bye
Like a teenager I feel
my soul, she is about to steal
Giddy, happy, out of breath
not moving, scared to death
The moment passes us by
but renewed with her sigh
This will still continue
there is nothing I can do
But go for the ride
willingly trying not to hide
All I got to do
and it has to be very soon
with a smile and a sigh
I step over and say, hi.

Love and looks! But, let wisdom lead the way. Thanks for sharing.
