Diversity Poem by Lowly Dreamer

Diversity

If the world was the same
And no one was unique
Would every child play the same game?
Always hide-and-seek?

Could you even tell the difference
Between a friend and an enemy?
Would everyone have the same color skin?
Would there be no multiplicity?

Would everyone, no matter what age
Always get along?
Would singers write their own music
Or does everyone sing the same song?

The world is not the same
And never will it be
Every person is unique
It’s called diversity
