Divine Fire - Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz
Fire as warm as deep love
You are with me
I am sheltered in the wilderness
The world will never be free
Words are spirit like a rising sun
You have given me mystical words
Many refuse to listen
I hear and have heard
Wild roses amidst the woods
Snow on the pines
Love is in creation
Someone listens to our cries
Bogs and swamps
Trials like passion
Dear pilgrims embrace
We know we are ransomed
I believe in your Spirit
None can pluck me from your hands
My intellect is your servant
With faith I stand
Death is just a shadow
Life is in his heart
Jesus Christ is alive forevermore
We shall never part
Forever and forever life sings
Joy raises our souls higher
Heaven is real
I feel the divine fire
