I sat in the courtyard of the Kaaba in silence,
Yet within me was an ocean of voices.
Every soul circling around it
Seemed to be gathering the broken pieces of their heart.
I once thought
It was only a sacred structure of stone,
But when I arrived here, I realized
It is the center of wandering souls,
Where people lose themselves
Only to find their God
The moment my eyes fell upon the Kaaba,
A strange peace descended upon my heart.
It felt as though a soul, lost for centuries,
Had finally returned home.
In the stillness of the night,
When the lights of Mecca grow quiet,
The Kaaba begins to speak…
And within its silence,
One can hear the love of God.
Now, my prayers no longer carry
The weight of worldly desires.
I ask for only one thing:
May my heart forever continue
To circle around this sacred House.
I had set out searching for worldly love,
But here,
I discovered Divine Love instead
