There's not a cloud in the sky
And palm trees dance in the breeze
But there's a stillness of the world
As wind overwhelms me
I'm forced to the ground
Held down on the grass
I stare at the green and watch the colors contrast
A lively mood, set by orange pastel tones
That fade into the sun
And place our hearts in one zone
I squint my eyes and uphold a breath
Release all with one exhale through my very own chest
Life is short, but you'll surely find
With love, there's no perfection
But it's ever so divine
