Divine Psyche Of Inferno Poem by Samantha Jenks

Divine Psyche Of Inferno

Veracity in the nightmare of hollowness
I’ll eternally subsist in bereavement
This heart these emotions are synthetic and hypocritical
Undeniable the void
Chisel and stone you extracted my soul
Took the red from my life and made it anew
Emitted in the spaces forgotten
You have raped the heart and left me to immolate
Manipulate the mind and lead me your way
Blow me from oblivion infuse light into the day
Close my eyes tight in hope I’ll rise
Let the rain fall down
Licking lovely salt from these lusting lips
Fill my lungs with water and drink the horror
Pull me under and take me away
Let the waves crash over me
I sent my heart out to be lost at sea
Falling and rise in the oceans tide
It’s when I’m closest to the edge I feel most alive
I’ll slip away in the still of this night
Radiance of my candle burning
I’ve set fire to the night
