Divorced From Respect Poem by Satish Verma

Divorced From Respect

Coming to flawless, you
become blind like Iris searching the
sunflower at night. Was it the end of the moon?

After the light, in
moments of separation, death
salutes the dust to honour the embrace.

O king of the tears, I touch
your rain of red drops. The philosophy
of give and take was dead.
