Do Not Fight A Feeling Poem by Achim Wollscheid

Do Not Fight A Feeling

Dear Brokenheart,

Do not fight a feeling, because you will only come to beat yourself up;
No, it is not worth the struggle to end up out of luck.
If you are restraining emotions, what will she perceive?
She'll rightfully leave if there is nothing to receive.
You can turn away, and pretend as if you never cared,
But it will not get you much anywhere.
It is best not to play these kid games with another's sensitivity.

You, of all people, should know her heart has such a large capacity.
Really, just tell her that you like her (as long as it is real) ,
And it is likely she'll feel the same way that you feel.
Do not fight the glee that comes when you look her way
And see Hera, the most beautiful goddess, in her display.
If it is meant to be, you shouldn't feel so sad and be so tense;
Your eyes should not clutter with heavy tears that may evince
This is your first time, and you are afraid to fall in love.
