Do Not Fool Me Again
to choose between
the sweetest lie
and the bitterest
truth,
the way you
evaded me
i guess
you have chosen
the former.
I have found my heart
finally in the desert of time
i let it dry there and do not wish to take it back with me,
no one keeps something bitter
you see
do not attempt to fool me again
you do not know what a heartless man can do.
