Do not spit at the skies,
Nor doubt their lightning and thunder.
It's folly to curse the heavens,
Unaware that divine will always works
For your good—to crack the seeds
deep beneath your barren soil.
Bite your tongue; refrain from blame.
Marvel instead at the mystery,
For silence holds more wisdom
Than challenging the cosmic plan.
There's no need to beat your drum—
Silence is no disgrace.
Listen closely to the divine voice.
What you dismiss as worthless
May carry the scent of paradise's rose.
Lift your index finger high,
As in Salah, and proclaim:
'Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah! '
I bear witness—
Whatever God wills
Unfolds within His perfect design.
