Do Not Touch Little Curtains Poem by Amer Jag

Do Not Touch Little Curtains

Do not touch little curtains
for they shade this moment
in their very own best way,
do not judge them,
just let them be, little curtains
over the windows that are looking
in this strange world of plays.

Keep me happy with little
innocent lies,
little curtains over my eyes,
in your very own best way,
allow them to whisper silent lies
words that my soul wants to hear
today.

I know how to tell truth from lie
but I'm not sure how deep will I fall
in the abyss of grief, once
my little curtains have gone, so please
Do not touch little curtains
for they shade this moment of life.
