Do we need democracy?
Where there is no responsibility
No control over people’s representatives
And their dishonest drive!

Such issues have become common
The freedom has been won
But not the mind set has been changed
We are still same persons fully caged

We want development
We too need improvement
But tolerate corruption
Allow public servants with their integrity in question

Is there no yardstick?
To control their tricks
Fool the people to their advantage
And tighten the rope around neck for bondage

People choose their representatives
Who have black history o pant the lives
No service o country other than amassing the wealth
Rob the poor people and push them to unnatural deaths

The education system is spoiled
No control over public exchequer is applied
People watch it with helplessness
And think what kind of this mess is?
