Do You Believe? Poem by Mohammad Younus

Do You Believe?

Do you believe?
Lovers gaze within the silent chambers—
of their hearts—
where divine light lifts the dust,
shadows dissolving in a sigh.

Do you believe?
Lovers abide in realms divine—
where whispers of the eternal
unfold into a symphony of marvels.
Hu corrodes their castles of illusion,
until only truth remains.

Do you believe?
Lovers rest in silver frames of trust,
their angelic wings glimmering in the dark.
As morning breaks too heavy for night,
stars collapse to ignite their spark.

Do you believe?
Lovers are the God's friends—
breathing the sacred breath of the divine.
In every pulse beneath their skin,
Hu sound hums.
Each heartbeat murmurs secrets untold.

Do you believe?
In midnight's whispered sin—
of longing for the beloved,
where lovers, lost in duality's illusion,
yearn for what is already within?

If the ordinary dwells
where lovers dwell,
then even life's most mundane moments
become sacred songs,
the beloved's spell.
