Do You Doubt Me Poem by Paul Warren

Do You Doubt Me

Most don't notice me
Just wispy smoke you can hardly see
But I am here patient and so clear
Seeking and being something for you to fear

And in the thousands of years I have been around
There have been suspicions but I have not been found
I like to niggle on the edge
Soaking up all the trouble in my evil pledge

So if things don't always work out
Know it's me feeding on your self doubt
And I will always be here
In the shadows waiting watching always near.
