Do You Still Believe? Poem by Torie Miele

Do You Still Believe?

Do you believe?
As old as you may be?
As much as you have seen?
Do you still believe?

In the innocence of dew drops
and unspoiled spider's knitted nets
So breathtaking, like heaven's song
Can it still live on?

In this world of broken hearts
Broken promises
Broken loves, lives, lights
Do you still believe

In the ebony of the everlasting night
Where death isn't a possibility
Its a guarantee
Can a light shine through?
Can a life shine through?

Can something so lovely
So immaculate still exist?
Is there really good
Still out there?
