Do You Truly Know Me? Poem by Robert Hilary

Do You Truly Know Me?

The potentiality of unlimited reality creates a totality that is hard for me to conceive. In my belief I find relief that I am all within my mind. Though some may be different from that which I am eternal. I am a simple fool. With a simple tune. I have danced with wisdom reason chaos and madness. I have been a tree who has braved both the day and the night. I am a poet. But I am a humble fool. It is not my rhetorical knowledge that I wish to share. But the center piece of my wisdom which I cannot touch with my minds eye. And thus have no way to speak. I am of inner wisdom. My inner wisdom shows me that I am a prisoner of my emotions. But it is a cage that is wondrously made. I am untrained within the hairs breadth of my imagination. Which knows no end to its mystery. I am but a fool. I have hanged many times. Yet still I walk in the light. I'm no more than a foolish boy. Yet another swindled seeker. Who dared touch or try to conceive what is immortal. I am no exception to my folly. I am as deep and wild and have used my powers in both ways. I am entwined in a destiny in which everything has it's place. I am a wonder and a mystery. Do you truly know me?
