Dock, Lock, Block! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Dock, Lock, Block!

The muse of the guinea-pig!
In the land of many rivers;
Life, act!
Of your toy car;
And, of your life.

Life, act!
Knees and toes;
Of your muse,
Hand in Hand.

Life!
Where have you been of late?
With your toy box.

Story, history, hickory! !
Head and shoulders;
Custom, costume!
In the land of many rivers;
And, of your life.

Dock, lock, block!
Being in the land of your muse;
But, with the guinea-pig.

Humble, bumble, crumble, stumble, tumble, rumble!
With the sense of love;
Boot, foot, loot, coot, hoot, moot, root, toot!
Under the umbrella of peace.

Spout, out!
Down came the rain once again;
To hop away or to skip away! !
Knowing what Comes next.
