Don'T Fall - Poem by Heather Burns

fall for an illusion
a poet in disguise
a spider spinning
interlaced with many

A dreamer of day dreams
he will always be
building sand castles
erected by the sea.

The tide will return
wash them all away
you'll stand on the
lost in the fray.

He will touch your
refuse to let it go
then walk away
leaving it lying in
the snow.
