Don'T Frown Smile. Poem by Alex Butler

Don'T Frown Smile.

Sometimes life, comes at you rough.
Making you do things, that seem so tough.
Like breaking that frown, with A big old smile.
Hiding the pain, if only for awhile.
From remembering the things, you hid away.
And thinking of the mistakes, you made yesterday.
It leaves you trying so hard, to make things right.
But also leaves you, thinking back in fright.
For the people you loved, and have passed away.
Leaves you wondering, each and every day.
Was there something we could of done, to change this here.
And still be able to hold, the one you called dear.
So now as you sit there, and look up at the sky.
Stop asking yourself, the reason why.
They'd be more then happy to see you grin.
And make it through, thick or thin.
Because no matter what, they loved you.
And all of the silly little things, you would do.
Just smile away, like never before.
That's all they want, and nothing more.
