Don'T Let Her Fall Poem by Jackie Oakden

Don'T Let Her Fall

Even though I'm just a child these days
I do know what it is I have to say
so please just listen to me today
oh please get out of my way

there are people in this world
who can't feed their small tummies
there will be a little girl
who can't say her food's yummy

I know that people know what's going on
so why hasn't anything been done about it?
it doesn't mean for you to go run
away from the fears you told me about oh
just so you know
this girl has no food to eat at all
please help her don't let her fall
please don't let her fall

with fire they'll be warm
with earth they'll eat corn
with water they won't be thirsty
with air they'll always be breathing

we can all make a change
in people's lives
without anyone to help
there will be no one to revive
