Don'T Run Poem by Ashleigh R. Gardner

Don'T Run

i know you feel so differently
it's safe to say i'm not used to it yet
you turn the other way when i see you
your eyes turn cold when i say that i love you

all the pain that's between us
it makes me ashamed to have ever loved you
you flinch to get away and not have me
you don't have to run to get away from me

i'm still crying over your last words
i hope you feel as much pain
and i hope you'll see very differently
when you find out tomorrow that you killed me

Ashes...it sounds like your swimming in the shallow end...if I may ask..what do you seek in a guy?
