Don’t Step On My Feet! Poem by Tohru Frost

Don’t Step On My Feet!

Rating: 5.0

Pulsing every beat,
Feel the happy heat,
Feet and heart thump,
Bump bump bump.
Grove a jump or sway,
Get out of my way!
This dance is mine,
Don’t look at the time,
Head to toes,
Everybody knows!
Scream and shout,
Dancing you heart out,
Vertigo floor starts to swirl,
Who cares? You just twirl!
You may get tired,
My blood is hot wired!
Feelin’ it in every part of you,
Forget everything but the tune,
Fingertip to shoe,
Forget the pain and doom,
Just forget yourself,
Don’t bother to put it on the shelf!
Shoes lost,
Hands in the air,
For fun there is no cost,
Joy and excitement to be shared!
